Siripa karunawa

 Siripa karuna is a journey that all of us buddhist go on very wiwillingly. A ppassion that has been in my heart for a long time. Last December I was able to go there too. I went there with a friend of mine from kegalla. Five others friends joined me on this trip.

         Siripadaya is one of the hhighest places rrevered by buddhists.this sseason the season started on the poya day which started on december 18. But we went before that.there are two roads  to get there and we went tha hatton side. We started our journey at night because we wanted to see sunrise. 

We got dinner from a friend's house. After bathing in the cold river we had dinner.somehow around two in the morning we were able to go uupstairs. Then after the morning pilgrimage we stayed until sunrise. Then we started downhill. Somehow we were able to get down at about nigh in the morning. This trip was a special one in my life.
