University 

University of visual and performing art is public university located primarily in colombo 07, sri lanka ,  specialist in arts, designs, fashion and the performing arts. University of the visual and performing arts was established on 1st of july 2005, by the former president of the socialist replace the former institute of aesthetic studies affiliated to the university of kelaniya. 


However , now I'm the student of the university of visual and performing arts Attached to the facalty  of music. I'm very lucky to have been selected for this university and it's the greatest achivement in my life .

This university has four faculties . 

01. Facalty  of visual arts 

02. Facalty  of music 

03. Facalty  of Dance 

04. Facalty  of Drama

   These four faculties compromise twenty two departments. 


This is the only university in sri lanka to exclusively offer special degree programs in visual and performing arts. Other are usually artistically inclined and have a skill for a certain , dance ,art, sing or other area of performance. Something that has never before been seen. This university is the only university I have every seen that has a lot of facilities , a beautiful environment and initiates the emergence of artists .
